Early Surprises
There is simply no debate on the biggest early surprises of the 2003 season. The Royals are 11-2. Hideki Matsui is a no-brainer, and how about Tampa Bay's Rocco Baldelli? Just keep your eyes on the games and you're sure to see a few more surprises before the month is over.
The Angels are making their move again, and Garrett Anderson is one MLB hitting leader who needs to get more credit immediately. Hideki Matsui has helped the Yankees to the best 13-game start in their history. The Royals, already off to a great start, await the return of Carlos Beltran to their lineup. Giants on the move, take on Dodgers
