The Pirates are here Saturday at 3:05 p.m. and Sunday at 1:35 p.m. when all fans receive a free 1971 Phillies Replica Cap courtesy ShopRite.

Home Opener Notes
Lucky enough to have tickets for the Opener?

We encourage all fans to arrive early. Catch some batting practice and be sure to be here for the pre-game ceremony beginning at 1 p.m. Gates open at 11:35 a.m.

Due to the expected volume of traffic, we recommend the use of public transportation. Check the SEPTA Web site (septa.org) for details.

Fans are also reminded about security measures at the Vet, including some important new restrictions on the sizes of bags that are permitted into the stadium.

Phast Start
Clutch hitting and superb starting pitching have the Phils off to a fast start, going 2-0 against the Marlins. Randy Wolf and Mike Lieberthal led the Phils to last night's 8-2 win.
