AL Postseason Underdogs
If you like Cinderella stories, then the Angels vs. Twins is an American League Championship Series match made in underdog heaven and one that, fittingly, will see at least two games played in Disneyland.
Two teams, neither with a single position player with postseason experience before last week, meet in an improbable series for the right to advance to the World Series in a best-of-seven series beginning Tuesday at Minnesota's Metrodome. Anaheim arrives having shocked four-time defending AL Champion New York to get here. The Twins upset heavily favored Oakland in five games.

A Tale of Two Storylines
When St. Louis takes on San Francisco in the National League Championship Series starting Wednesday at Busch Stadium, two storylines are sure to get the most attention.
The first is the inspiration with which the Cardinals are playing this season in memory of former teammate Darryl Kile, broadcaster Jack Buck and former Cardinal Darrell Porter.
The other is the microscope under which the most feared hitter in the game today, Barry Bonds, performs as he tries to reach the World Series for the first time in his career. More >
