STEEL SCOREBOARD STRUCTURE CONTINUES TO RISE FROM GROUND  The Ballpark continues to take shape as the installation of structural steel at street level progresses. Since August, workers have been installing steel and creating the signature scoreboard structure located in the northwest area of the Ballpark. It is in this area where some of the largest pieces of steel will be used, with each piece weighing nearly 22,000 pounds and standing 65' tall.

CLEARWATER COMPLEX PLANS ANNOUNCED The Phillies and the City of Clearwater recently announced plans for a new Clearwater Community Sports Complex and Phillies Spring Training Facility. This state-of-the-art ballpark and community sports facility will feature a classic Floridian architectural style. A mid-October groundbreaking for the new facility is anticipated with a planned opening in March 2004.
