Making History: Yanks-Rangers Game Webcast

Two teams with substantial starpower square off in New York on Monday to wrap up a four-game series. Not only that; when the Texas Rangers visit Yankee Stadium stuffed with 50,000-plus fans for the 1 p.m. ET matchup, they'll be part of the first LIVE WEBCAST in MLB history.

Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter thinks that the Internet will eventually be a way for fans around the country -- and the world -- to tune in to see their favorite players in action. "I think it's a great thing. Baseball is taking advantage of all that technology has to offer. ..."

The Yankees have a stronghold on first place in the AL East. The Rangers are at the bottom of the impressive AL West. Still, with big names on both sides, it's anything but a mismatch.
