I know runners stare down Mother Nature and run in all kinds of conditions.?
However, tomorrow is forcast with more sub-zero temps and horrible chill
indexes.? MMTC is scheduled at Bancroft Park which has snowy and slippery
hills.? Combine that with polar temps and standing around waiting to run, it
adds up to misery and an accident waiting to happen.? Instead, each person can
brave their own run on an easier negotiated course and a venue of not standing
around.
This will be only the third or fourth time in 40 years that the club run caved
in.? No formal MMTC run tomorrow, Jan 16.
