Interested in your preferences for next years 25K date. For years it has been
on the first Saturday of December. Below is some past results and note that
the weather is frequently messy at that time of year.
Should we:

new course layed out by McMahon, all on Riverwalk with no repeats.
30 runners, 18 went 25K
Overwhelming majority of 25K runners liked and preferred the new course layout
Grant Woodman ran in front by himself ticking off 5:36 miles

Note:Â afterward several hours were spend wheeling the co urse because our
calculations and two geo calculators said the course was .4 of a mile too
long. It was! At the Moore’s River turnaround it was .1 of a mile too
long. That extra was run 4 times. Results are with corrected distances. In
the case of the full 25K the times are recalculated to 25K, two fast times Grant
Woodman and Donavan Hornbeck who started about38 minutes late..

In spite of the weather, there were 34 participants of 10Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
or more miles. Grant Woodman continued his domination of
the 25K. Carl Willits, coach at Perry HS, is getting his
charges out doing longer runs - lookout for payoff in
good results next year.       Â
