from Ann Crane:

Hi Ann,
this doesn't pertain to running per se, so I didn't know if you could
forward it to the MORE group or not, but it does have pertain to health. If
you
can pass it on, that would be great. If you can't I understand.
Sue

The MSU College of Nursing invites you to enjoy a full day designed by women
for women. You will have the
opportunity to sort through the clutter of health information overload,
learn to claim your dreams, and enjoy
either a round of golf or the luxurious fitness center & spa. Make this a
girl’s day out; a time for relaxing,
rejuvenating, and reflecting for a day, All About You.
Call today if you have questions or would like to register 888-771-3637.
The full brochure can be viewed at _www.nursing.msu.edu_
(http://www.nursing.msu.edu/) The $135 registration fee has been extended to
Tuesday, September
7, 2004.

Routine. Responsibility. Rushing.
The Three Rs have changed a bit since grade school, haven’t they?
Sometimes, day-to-day life seems to take over, and we lose a little bit of
ourselves
in those Rs.
The MSU College of Nursing would like to offer some new Rs:
Relaxation. Rejuvenation. Reflection.
It’s All About You is a day that’s tailored to meeting the needs of women
who deserve a day of relaxation, reflection, and rejuvenation. This soothing
retreat from ordinary life will help you discover ways to pamper and love
yourself, even in the hectic 21st century.
Spend your morning uncovering answers to some challenging questions that
women face. From fad diets to aging, to hormone replacement therapy, find the
truth behind the often mythical information overload we’re bombarded with.
Hear
about ways to overcome stress and manage your body’s ever-changing needs
from people who know the right answers.
At lunch, be inspired by Valerie Fons, a woman who has made empowering
choices in order to manage her life on her own terms. Once you’ve heard her
story,
spend the afternoon pampering yourself the way you always dreamed you could.

It’s All About You — so we’ve designed some incredible activities for
you
to enjoy. Some women will choose to play a round of golf at the award winning
Forest Akers West golf course. Others can opt for a treatment and class at
the University Club Fitness Center & Spa, enjoying full access to the
amenities of this state-of-the-art facility.
When you head home that afternoon, you should feel stronger, smarter, and
stress free —the way you should feel every afternoon.
Make up for lost time. Make it All About You.
registration and fees
Cost for the entire day—including refreshments, lunch, all educational
programs and the entire afternoons spa or golf session —is just $135. You
may
also register for the morning sessions and lunch only for $75.00. (Special
discounts are available for age 65 and over.) Deadline for registration has
been
extended to Tuesday, September 7.
For more information or to register please call 517.432.5033.
