Hi,
My Gem is called 'Well Done' (because no-one will ever need to say that whilst I
am racing!!), number 17,
located at Manningtree in Essex. owner Tim Goodwin, tim@...
Is the list on line somewhere?
other Gems here are Takita, owner Tony Power,
Virus owner Martin PAvey
Annogram of Meg J. Andrews
(I cant really offer their contact details without checking)
ANd we have 4 or 5 Micro 18's as well!
Keel:
Mine just has wooden block behind at the top, but i'm not sure what there is
when the keel locates down in its hole.
Some of the Micro 18's have side cheeks, but the extra weight could be a killer?
I was going to buy a Morrison which I believe would have been a quicker boat,
but all the others here are Gems and Micro 18's so are similar in performance.
Gems win in lighter airs, and Micro 18's have the edge in heavier wind - I lose
in evrything!
All the best,
Tim Goodwin
