Hi,
Trailing is a once a year job for me - trailing to a meeting is not
on, but I would be interested in a get together in the Poole area
next year (say between poole and yarmouth).
There's an all classes regatta in Poole May bank holiday
"2006 KEELBOAT REGATTA
Next year's 3 day regatta over the May Bank Holiday weekend is
set to be the biggest and best yet. It will incorporate the J24 and
the Sonata Southern's and is being sponsored by, amongst others,
INTERNATIONAL PAINTS
There will be two BIG social events, including Mission Impossible
here at Poole YC on the Saturday. The last time they blew the place
apart!
SO KEEP THE WEEKEND FREE - THIS IS THE BIG ONE!"
- races in the harbour or in Poole bay- Micros would sail under
Poole harbour handicap system, a hcap could be arranged for those
interested. email me please
It's a long time since I sailed in Essex - there used to be a good
slip at Two Tree Island, Leigh on Sea. I wonder if it's still there,
or if the council have priced it out?

have a BBQ at a nearby club, and cruise back afterwards. One of my
best sails this year was doing just that with partner and daughter,
stopping at a beach or two on the return (weather was great), and
drifting up the river on the flood on just a few inches of water -
great.
