I appreciate your offer for assistance however so far this is the only
response I have received for anybody interested.

Also I am more thinking of a very simple and informal get together and
perhaps a leisurely cruise somewhere together. Would obviously love to know
how my boat measures up and even more interested to see how other Micro's
are looking these days.

I am hoping we could arrange some sort of get together next year, but first
I have to try and get more boats to join in.

Will keep in touch on this group if there are any further developments.

If you fancy coming out for a sail one day, let me know and we can try to
arrange something.

If you are interested in organising something and are not too far from Kent
(100-150 miles?) then I would be very happy to help.
I have not got a boat but I followed the continental circuit for 3 years
with my brother who had a Microsail, and had the great pleasure of training
as a Micro measurer with Phil ;-)

Not sure that I am.

I have a car. It is too small to tow the boat.

I have a trailer, in a poor state, not fully roadworthy.

I have a boat, some of the buoyancy tanks have large inspection holes in
them

I somehow think it sounds like a recipe for trouble compared to having none
of the above.

get-together at some stage. Perhaps a race or just a cruise to get started.

I can try to arrange something at Greenwich Yacht Club in London or anywhere
else that might be more convenient if others have any preference. I am
hoping this could become an annual event and that others might try to
organise something similar so that we can have a few events every year at
some stage.

If this takes off I might have to look at getting a decent trailer for my
boat and would appreciate suggestions of somebody who can tailor-make a
trailer for me that will be light, adjustable and with brakes at a very
decent price.

What do you guys think. At least we can start talking about it.
