Welcome aboard
You didn't say if you had sailed before, just it's your first boat...
For advice, talk to someone who sails a big racey dinghy
You have a very quick responsive boat that is well balanced- but you
should start slowy. Start out with 2 reefs in the main and the
smallest jib you have, and don't forget to put in the bolt that locks
the keel down.
Use the traveller to control the main.
Slide the rudder back as far as it will go

well...you´ve bought a bit of an animal for a first boat. keep the keel down while you get used to it, don´t get caught with too much sail up and never have...

Swimming, not sure, or the crew is made of 4 packs of thick fat flesh 240 Lbs each, like me. Bur be careful anyway as the mast top could easily touch the rig...
