Dave,
As representatives of the International Class Association, Renan Robert (NED), acting vice-President and myself (BEL), acting President, intend to cross the Southern North Sea to meet you, best during such an event and with our boats if affordable.
There are opportunities for us for racing and cruising in the area in the first 20 days of August, I was a frequent visitor in the past (but with fixed keel and draft 5 ft, not higher than Mistley). Our mate Helmut Czasny (working for ISAF in Southampton) shoud be in Qingdao (CHN) at this time.
June or September are other opportunities but we have already a very heavi racing agenda in these months.
Regards
Phil

I'm the sailing secretary at the Stour SC.
We will be finalising our sailing programme for the coming season, within the next week or so, and the dates for club's annual Micro Class event will be sorted out as well. This would normally be over a weekend in September, based on the local water, although there is proposal from one of the Micro owners to stage a more ambitious event downriver where the there wouldn't be such a constraint from the tides, and to also stage the event during the summer months.
Obviously we have to discuss everything and decide what to this year. As soon as the details have been sorted, I'll write to the group.
Regards,
Dave Waters
