I've just collected a micro from Windermere. The documentation says that she is a Micro, designed and built by Morrison, sail number K7, constructed in glass, with wooden interior fit out.
Phil Morrison tells me he didn't build any boats, but from our discussion he suggested it might be a modified design of his made by a Mr Jones, (perhaps now deceased).
The most notable feature is the flair to the gunwhale in way of the cockpit.
I've gor some photos if anyone feels able to help.
Also I'd be interested in a Nationals on the East Coast, and to throw my hat in the ring, hope to be competing in the second week of Menai Straights Regatta, great sceneary, lots of boats, plenty of Clubs and Pubs, moorings and trot boat.
In the same area there is also Abersoch Keel boat week.
Hope someone can help with the identification, but that may only be the tip of the iceberg regarding questions.
