GREAT win tonight! I'm not worried about Thunder
Dan's absence...it gives Voshon a chance to step
up,which he's doing. He was a starter last year...in my
opinion,he should have been starting all this year(though I
LOVE Thunder Dan!). I really don't think Pat's going
to make a trade...not yet. The Mash/Hughes trade
talk was a warning. It seems to have worked.

worse than mash.
2) TIM HARDAWAY IS FINALLY BACK!!!
and what a return with 11 assists on his first game,

Just another tribute to how good of a coach Riley
is, who ever heard of Anthony Carter? Riley signs
this guy, and all of the writers say, thats a bad
move. Well, now those same writers are saying that they
might wanna keep hardaway benched for carter. Looks
like Carters shaping up to be the John Starks of the
Heat.

I just joined this club and I don't want to seem like a nag right off the bat,
but, just for info., mash was the #4 pick in the 93 draft. I do agree that they
should pull the trigger, though.

If Riley wants to bring Hughes, Mohammed, and
Owens to Miami, I say bring it on. But just do it
already, or don't, cause I think a lot of Heat fans want
to see Mashburn moved. I know it's not his fault
with all the injuries, but Miami needs a youger spark
plug.

Yesterday on TNT it was reported that a swap of
players might take place. The teams involved are the heat
and the 76ers. Mainly Larry Hughes and Billy Owens
for Jamal Mashburn. I think the heat got the better
of the 2 cause first of all Mash has had plenty of
time to prove that he was the #2 pick of the ? draft.
He has bounced around a few teams for whatever
explanation and never really quite found a home. Same goes
for Billy Owens. Good riddance to those two
..........
Now what they get in return is an unbeliveble
potiental star in Larry Hughes. There is no downside to his
being in miami. I could go on and on about this deal if
anyone wants more info email me.

Cef

Just imagine all you heat fans out there, if one
grant hill does don a heat uni????? He is scheduled to
become a free agent at the end of this year and well
wwhy not dream and think of it??? Probely wont happen
as he will command an unrealistic amount on the open
market, but hey we can dreeam cant we??? I mean Jamal
Mashburn???? Please injury prone for one thing his defense is
suspectable at best. Another great fit would be Tim duncan.
Pat riley doesnt wanna part with pj but just the
thought of he and alonzo in the same front court
HMMMMMMMMMMM. I mean wishing is still free!!!!!!!!

Cef

I happened to catch the Miami vs Utah game on TNT
, and once again Alonzo showed his brilliance by
posting 17pts and 10 rbs game WITHOUT Tim Hardaway. The
heat will have to look for another point guard for
help.

Cef

went to the game on Saturday when they came to Seattle
to play the Sonics. Even though they lost 92-88. I
was just excited to be there!! Alonzo Mourning is the
greatest!!

Alonzo is epitome of intensity and toughness on
the court. No wonder many sports writers mistake his
intensity for arrogrance. We should all take a lesson from
him. If you want something bad enough then take the
nessacary steps to fulfill them, for he is also worth every
penny the Heat pays him. I just think one he will win a
ring before his career is over with his skills he
posesses and all.

Cef

I think with Rileys new uptempo style the heat
are litteraly on a roll! Certainely the Atlantic
division will be theirs this year, then the Eastern
conference to finally meet the spurs/lakers in the finals.
Right now no one in the east really stands out from the
rest of the pack, but Miami glaringly head and
shoulders above all. Alonzo is the most intense basketball
player to come along in decades, for his intensity makes
him what he is today the centerpiece of the
heat.
Questions/comments???

Cef

What does everyone think of the new up tempo
style the heat offense has shown??? Is it because they
know they wont win games 75-70 because of the new
rules or is it something different..all I know is that
I like it because it adds a new dimension and
makesd the offense more versatile. Jeremy

The Heat selected Tim James from UM with their
25th pick in the NBA draft. This was a suprise because
James was expected to go in the mid teens. The 6'7"
forward says that he is happy that he is able to stay in
Miami.

Their have been some rumors concerning the Heat
and the #2 Pick. Some rumors suggest that Riley will
send PJ and Voshon to Vancouver, then Vancouver would
send the #2 to the Lakers, and the Lakers would send
Glen Rice to the Heat.

What about Kris Clack?
Do you think Riley should draft him if he's
available?

And will Mitch Richmond sign if Riley makes an offer?
It may be low, but will the chance of winning and
getting to the playoffs be enough to lure Richmond?

iss goodbye to the Miami Heat squad that we have
all come to love over the past three
years.

Bad rebounding, poor shooting and Injuries during the
playoffs has destroyed this team.

So expect changes
next season. I think that the only old faces from this
