Tell the real story - you were about 3/4 around on one of your numerous
loops - somehow didn't fully rotate and the tip of the mast violently hit
the water and busted.

I saw the whole thing. This was the only loop Tim missed during the whole
day.

I have a feeling - that may have been it. Sailing season 2003 - may be
over.

Get the snowbaords ready.

Marysville was great today.Solid 5.2 from noon till 3:00 when the wind
dropped off some and had to go to a 6.0.Had a real good crash,broke a mast
about three feet from the tip, when I was about have way across the
river.The wind was dropping off at the time and couldn't sail the rig in
the condition it was in.Worked my way in by holding the rig up in a water
start position and half swimming in.Mallard helped me swim the rig the
last 100 yards or so,thanks for the help.Ended up about 400 yards down the
beach,just before where the rip rap shore line starts.Thank goodness there
wasn't a freighter coming at that time!More wind forecast for Monday for
the hardy souls who doesn't mind a few snow flurries!!!
