Welcome. I've never used a PowerEx mast extension. Most sailors in SE
Michigan use a Chinhook mast base and corresponding extension. Chinhook's
bases do extend from 0 cm to 40 cm.

Go on iwindsurf.com and check-out the buy/sell, used component section.
Also call Windsurfing Hatteras - I bought a used extension from them last
year. If you buy new - probably around $60 bucks.

TWC (The Windsurf Co http://www.surfandsportshop.com/) in Keego Harbor
Michigan has had a fairly good swap meet probably for the last 10 years.
Typically there's tons of good used gear. Swap meet is usually the third
weekend in April.

The shop is slowly getting out of windsurfing - so I'm not sure if they're
going to have a swap in April 2004 - call Brian (1 800 636 1300) ask him if
he's got anything used - if not he can order you a new one.

just Joined this group, I am in west michigan, and looking to buy a
fixed mast extension, something like the powerex extendo tube,
40cm would be great.

also, anyone know of any swap meets soon, or in the spring?
