Due to the responses from the earlier survey on date and location, this year's sale will take place on Saturday, May 9 (Sunday rain date?). Past years have been from 10am to 4pm, so that is the plan. About half of those who responded, suggested having it at Metro Beach.  I contacted the superintendent about having it there. I have not heard back from him yet. He said he had to check on a few things. If he starts talking permits and other administrative paperwork, we'll stick with Cass. Alex has always been very encouraging and accommodating. When a decision is made, I will send out another letter with a flyer that folks can post around town, at work, relay to their buds, etc.   With TWC back to selling some gear, Sailboard Alley ramping up, Brian at GLK, and Red Sky, plus the growing number of kiters, this looks to be the biggest swap in a few years.
So make your calendars and pass the word. I'll have the location shortly. Of course, any suggestions are welcome.
