Attached to this email is an excel file with the current standings in the
Michigan Challenge (through Cedar Creek). Our apologies for the delay in
sending this information. We know you care about the standings, and we want
you to have the info in a timely manner.
As some of you know, we've experienced difficulties posting the results on
our website. We hope to have the technical issue resolved soon, but here's
the info in the meantime. Note that the attached file contains a separate
worksheet for each Michigan Challenge category.
Future updates: We're pleased to announce that Griffin Lindsay has joined
Outdoor Athlete Events as our Communications Director. She'll be compiling
updates to the standings as soon as we receive the results from each race.
You can reach Griffin by email at griffin@..., or by calling
(734) 332-3786.
If you find errors in the attached file, please contact us. Jeff Herron, not
Griffin, compiled the current standings. You can contact Griffin with
questions or corrections, but contact Jeff if you have complaints about the
delay in receiving the info.
Please remember that we use the results provided by the race organizers. We
do not have the ability to change race results. If you believe the race
results are in error, please contact the race organizer. On the other hand,
if we've made a mistake in awarding points based on official race results,
please let us know. We award points for 1st through 10th place as follows:
20-16-13-11-8-7-5-3-2-1. State championships earn double points. Cone Azaila
earned riders 3 point for starting, eight points if they finished.
Unclassified riders from Cone-Azalia: A number of riders earned points by
entering and/or finishing Cone-Azalia, but haven't earned points since. If
that describes you, we may not have you assigned to a category If you do
not find your name in your category, please check the "unclassified riders"
worksheet. If you find your name there, please email us with your
classification and we'll move you to your group.
Thanks for your patience, your constructive criticism, and for not using
profanity in your emails, even when you really, really wanted to.
