Wolverine Spring Time Trial Presented by BIKESPORT

8:00am Saturday April 27th, 2002 @ Stony Creek Metro Park

COURSE LOCATION: Stony Creek Metro Park, Shelby Twp, Michigan. The
registration and start will be from the Boat Launch parking lot area.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-696 to Van Dyke north to 26 mile road west. There
will be signs directing you into the park. Once inside the park turn
left and continue to Boat Launch Parking Lot.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 2 laps of a 6 mile/10k circuit featuring flat to
rolling terrain. This is the same course that will be used the
BIKESPORT Michigan State Championship Time Trial in June. It is a
closed loop without lights or stop signs and should prove to be a
very good course for fast times. Public traffic will be on the course
so use caution at all times.

DISTANCE: 20 Kilometers for all classes and categories

RACE DAT SCHEDULE:

Registration will open at 8:00am.

Racing begins at 8:30 am.

The categories will start in the order shown with all pre-registered
riders starting first, day of registered riders will start after all
pre-registered riders have started.

All riders will start 30 seconds apart.

RULES:

A valid USCF license is required (1 day licenses will be available
for $5.00 at registration).

All USCF Rules apply.

NO DRAFTING.

All racers are responsible for being at the start line on time, no
time allowance will be given for late starts.

ANSI/Snell approved helmet is required at all times when riding on
the road.

PRIZES:

A total of $100 in Bonus Primes will be paid to the three fastest
times overall ($50, $30, $20 respectively).

Bonus Primes of $25 will be paid out to the fastest Woman and fastest
Master.

For categories with ten or more participants, the winner will receive
2x the entry fee and second place will receive their entry fee.

For categories with 3 to 9 participants, the winner will receive
their entry fee.

There will not be any payout for categories with less than 3
participants.
