It has been a slow winter in Northern Michigan and the tree line that forms
the International Ice Bridge between Drummond Island, Michigan and St.
Joseph Island, Ontario just went in late last week. Cold temperatures are
expected in the short term forcast so all systems are "Go" for the fifth
annual mountain bike race from Drummond Island to St. Joe's and back on
March 2, 2002. Currently 27 hardy riders are signed on indicating that the
field may break the 50 participant level this year. For more information
