>I agree, Carlos Delgado should be playing way better than he
currently is, however, it may be his sophmore year when he finally
settles into his groove. Look at Beltran. When he came over from the
Astros, everyone was expecting BIG things and when he didn't produce,
we Mets fans were disappointed. I don't hear too many Mets fans such
as myself, complaining this year. He is healthy and when someone is
healthy, only then can they play to their full potential. Perhaps 1
player could play to a great degree when they weren't 100 percent.
Mickey Mantle would go out night after night, drink, carouse around
town with the ladies and so would Whitey Ford and Billy Martin, and
they DIDN'T have those performance enhancers like Bonds, Canseco,
Giambi and who knows how many other players who've used steroids!
