I am watching tonight's game versus the Reds (Wed) and I have seen Delgado
strike out twice in the first two times up, with a at least one man in
scoring position. Can anyone tell me the last time he hit a ball hard? All
he does is strike out and hit weak ground balls. Even his occasional hits
are all singles that bounce through the infield. Nothing is hit hard. He's
batting .100 something since last month. I think he may have a health or
medical problem. No one can go from a feared slugger to what he has been
doing lately. Maybe the Mets should have his eyes and his reaction time
tested. Mike Jacobs is starting to look like we let another "future" get
away. What do you think?
