My only point is, if they wait for Zito to be a FA, the evil empire next door
will get him, to revamp their ancient rotation. I would rather trade a prospect
now, and then use the rest of the season to negotiate a long term deal with him,
as Tommy and Pedro are not exactly youngsters either.
