I think the 2005 Mets manager is going to be either Wille Randolph or
Bobby Valentine.

Bobby Valentine is a good, tough manager. The problem is he is under
a three year contract with a Japanese team and he might not accept
Rick Petterson.

I think Wille Randolph has the best chance to become the 2005 Mets
manager. He knows how to win, tought by Joe Torre. Can teach Kaz
Matsui how to become a good second baseman. He won't care about Rick
Petterson.

I don't think any other person the Mets has interviewed has a chance
to become the 2005 Mets manager.
