I know it's been a tough season for all us diehard met fans but hope
is just around the corner. With a new honcho in charge next season we
might finally have the leadership we never got from "The Wizard", Art
Howe. Our rotation will be basically intact if we resign Benson,
giving us the best starting staff in the National League East. Our
offense will be one of the best in baseball with reyes and matsui
providing spark, Mike piazza coming back with a vengence and
hidalgo's 29 home runs translating into a full season in new york.
Now we still have some obvious flaws as a team, the biggest being our
dreadful bullpen, the worst in baseball history. Franco needs to shut
his mouth and pack it in, he has not been a reliable pitcher in 9
years. Snatton is also washed up as well. We also need less crybabies
on this team like the little pussy in leftfield who can't decide
whether to stay or go (FLOYD). Little advice for ya, don't let the
door hit you on the way out. Stay optimistic Met fans, with our great
owners who are dying to bring a championship to new york, we will be
in the hunt next year and hopefully we will be #1. That's all guys,
only 183 days until opening day, see you all there.
