the way willie was fired was disgraceful. manuel might be the right guy for that
group of players this season. at least he can communicate with the majority of
the team without an interpreter. as for the long-road ahead, it wont matter who
may be the manager or even gm for that matter-the wilpons remain among
pro-sports worse owners. only the dolans are worse. its tacky to fire willie the
way they did-minaya shoule've been fired first! unless manuel get these guys
into the play-offs, he's gone come september.there really isnt any strong
candidates for manager out there. i would like to see bobby v back in new york
or even mattingly, but there will be better organisations out there for them to
choose from. maybe the the brooklyn cyclones can take the mets place in the nl
east for the rest of this season.
