Spring Pitching and bonds, 1st base, catcher

i would not like to see Hernandez in the rotation because he is always hurt and
is never there anyway the mets need to get younger in there rotation not older.
they need to draft pitching better and make better trades I'm tired of trading
away good young players for a player who is older but has played in the bigs.
kasmir if we would have him we wouldn't need to be having this conversation. As
for bonds he is to old and slow and hurt we dont need him and we dont need alou
for that matter either he is always hurt too. put endy in left full time have
him bat 1,2 or 8 and give the guy a shot... by mid summer maybe Martinez will be
big league ready and our outfield would be Chavez Beltran and Martinez. For
first base we should try to trade for Matt laporta he is a minor leaguer who
plays for the brewers farm system he played for florida and had massive pop in
his bat he hits right handed tho if thats a downfall i dont see it as one. the
mets also need to get a young catcher
they can develop anyone have any player in mind that can fill that?

bannister-he is becoming a solid starter for the royals. hopefully the powers
that be have learned from their mistake and will show pelfrey mercy and not give
up on him.

struggling with confidence. There is no other way I can figure this. Mike Peltry
has enough tools to make it work. Going after the strike-out is a wonderful
thing, but, it seems, it is not his forte. In my opinion, he should concentrate
on throwing heavy sliders. Work on his location to draw grounders. The middle
and corner infields can help with the outs. He may do well eating innings in
long relief. This is not a bad thing, and would surely help the team, immensely.
I get excited seeing pitchers break bats. Peltry could very well be that type of
pitcher. I wish him well.
