Re: [Mets Fanz United] Spring Pitching

I would love to see Peltry in the rotation. Frankly, I had expected him there
last year. This year, he is struggling with confidence. There is no other way
I can figure this. Mike Peltry has enough tools to make it work. Going after
the strike-out is a wonderful thing, but, it seems, it is not his forte. In my
opinion, he should concentrate on throwing heavy sliders. Work on his location
to draw grounders. The middle and corner infields can help with the outs. He
may do well eating innings in long relief. This is not a bad thing, and would
surely help the team, immensely. I get excited seeing pitchers break bats.
Peltry could very well be that type of pitcher. I wish him well.

I was hoping he would have another winning day, but that was not going to happen. Unfortunate. Obviously, there is a trend here for a 15-win Pitcher. I...

The No. 5 starter looks to be a problem. Aside from Pelfrey's supposed lack of confidence, El Duque is starting out too slow for my taste, as we are moving...
