Re: [Mets Fanz United] Re: Very Sad

glavine isnt done just yet and neither is el duque, but they need to be let go.
delgado should be trade bait. mets should've went after zambrano and bronson
arroyo. i would love for them to trade for fausto carmona from the indians or
jeff francis from the rockies.

Brent Horowitz <brent.horowitz@...> wrote: Thank goodness I
didn't watch the whole game and had to work today. Frankly
they did so poorly they were too lax...This is a managers fault. People like
Willie in this city but he deserves some of the fault. Glavine will never be
a Met in my heart after this performance. Maybee his worst of the season,
guess he really wants out of New York now. Mets can't sign Glavine after
this.. A lot of people are saying that Bartolo Colon is the free agent the
Mets will sign this winter. Mets have a bit of money to spend with Green out
and Glavine out of the picture. Frankly I don't know how old El Duque is,
but frankly yet another pitcher that the Mets need to let go.. Mets need to
go with a rotation of Zambrano/Colon/Pedro/Maine and Perez....Frankly the
Mets have some other choices. Randy Wolf has always pitched well at Shea,
and while a risk he will come at a low price.

Randolph's big fault with with handling of Heilman and Mota. Heilman can go
else where and is tradable.

I have to say the as much as it Willie fault its also the pitching coach..
Maine is the only one to show real improvement...If Pedro saw a problem with
Mota on Televison the question is why didn't the pitching coach now. Maybee
Pedro should be the pitching coach... I love my mets...but clearly the Mets
under performed and were more concerned with records than wins.

Positives for this year...David Wright,John Maine, Carlos Beltran, Ramon
Castro

Negatives for the year...Jose Reyes (he used to kill the Phillies, and
really ran them out of innings this year. Mota, Heilman, Delgado..

To all New York Mets fans...Now is not the time to start abandoning

Our team... Now more than ever we need to rally behind this team and

Hopefully with some luck our team can pull this off...Once we get

Into the playoffs. We can wipe the slate clean...

As far as personal moves during the off season... I think the Mets

Should definitely bring back Moises Alou...As far as Glavine is

Concerned. I think its time to part with Tommy...I like a lot as

Pitcher... But does not give you enough innings anymore...Which has

Proven to burn out our bullpen. I agree that we definitely need some

Major improvement in the bullpen and a top line starter...

I'll be at the game tonight rooting the Mets onto the playoffs..

Lets Go Mets!!!

Carlos zambrano would be a good fit for the mets...we are all

Misssing Brian bannister right now. The kid went to Kansas city and

Found his groove. The mest were my pic to represent the nl in the

Show, but now I don't know if they'll make it past the first round,

Especially if they finish the season tied or a game behind the

Phillies.

If it's Carlos Zambrano you're referring I believe he resigned with the Cubs shortly after they traded Marty Barrett. Brent Horowitz <brent.horowitz@...>...
