bannister turned his game around in k.c., without question. he should've been
left alone to develop in new york. instead u get jorge sosa? oliver perez is as
hot and cold as he was with the phillies. minaya should've known better.

The Fans start screeming "Lets Go Yankees" when the Mets are doing bad and
"Yankees Suck" when the Mets are doing good it's a bit amuzing. I do not know if
Banister was pitching for the Mets today if they would have won or not but maybe
if he were still here this game would have not been needed in the first place,
old Stars just flikering out that's the main cause of what happened in 2007.
Youth in Kasmir and Banister may have gotten their leg over the fence. I don't
care if Castillo is better with his glove than Gotay, Gonzales and Lastings
should have got more playing time when they were playing the team had more
energy and was winning. Delgado broke his hand today I hope he's ok and I hope
he goes back to an American Leauge team next
year as a DH, most of these worn out veterans need to be moved out or play back
up roles to younger everyday players. Not only that team in the Bronx but most
of the teams who make the play offs including one of the two now bidding for the
one day play off have a good mixture of Veterans and Youth and use the Youth to
win. The Mets took there youth and traded it to other teams and who ever was
left stayed hidden in the closet. Only Reyes and Wright played on an everyday
basis but that was not enough. Banister's numbers were equil to Andy Petit and
that was on a bad team can you imagine if he still was a Met? Andy Petit won a
game the other day and the score was 11-10 I don't know of Banister getting a 10
run support with the Royals. This last week looked as though it were being
managed by Joe Torre via 2004, just watch as the Titanic sinks. The Mets have a
good farm system and they should look at those kids seriously Next year plus for
those of us who follow the Brooklyn
Cyclones it would be nice to see a couple of our guys in there winning on a big
leauge level.
