zambrano would fit well with the mets...also, suzuki or tori hunter. the best
possible scenario would be to trade shawn green, mike pelfrey, jorge sosa, aaron
heilman, all to the cubs!!! and get zambrano and soriano in return. the mets
also need to move lastings milledge too. has anyone noticed how well former
mets' second basemen kaz matsui, has been playing for the rockies. another trade
i would like to mention would be a long shot-wrestling dontrelle willis away
from the marlins or their promising pitching prospect annibal sanchez. sanchez
was sent back down to the minors, because of his control issues. all young
pitchers except maybe cole hamels & josh johnson, go thru control issues and a
lack of confidence in their stuff, just checkout tim lincecum. but sanchez would
do well in new york being around glavine & el duque. one more thing. jorge
sosa's last outing back wedsnday, was that a hiccup, or does anyone thing his
numbers are about to come back down to earth
permanently?

proposed the Zambrano trade. It makes sense
because he seems to be tired of the Cubs and vise versa. I don't think
the Cubs might ask for a lot, so a package including a not so
promising starting pitcher and an outfielder or infielder might get it
done. I would even throw in Sosa even thought he has been very good (I
fear he might collapse under the pressure of the playoffs). Also
moving to a winning ball club with a catcher like LoDuca might help
him calm his attitude. Minaya get to work and lets trade for or sign
Ichiro. GO METS!
