Re: [Mets Fanz United] Ichiro

I cannot agree more. I have always thought with the
right talent and team attitude, Ichiro Suzuki can
realisticly see a championship in his future.
My concern would be "How much"? How much would it
cost this team to sign a talent like Suzuki? Don't
get me wrong. Omar Minaya is tops in his field, but
money does the talking in today's baseball. Observe
Yes television whose future may lie with the asian
market, untapped and huge, for American Baseball. Is
SNY planning to expand into that market? If so,
Ichiro would be the way to go at any expense.
Right now, as a fan, I can only dream.

Thats a hell of an idea and Ichiro might want to sign because Minaya's that good. I like Gomez and he might develop into a winner but Green and Alou are aged...

Well let me clarify something I'm not talking about trading for Ichiro, but sign him next year. I think though Hunter would want to play CF , ala Camron a few...

I agree that Hunter would be worth trading for but unlikely, that would leave the Twins with no right handed power to protect Morneau, I disagree that Delgado...

Ichiro and Hunter would not be good fits in my opinion. 1. We have Beltran for CF so that is a position we don't need to cover, eliminating Hunter. 2. We have...
