Here we go again folks! It's officially spring training! So, let's
celebrate in the tradition of our fourth annual MFU Group contest!

The image contest (the same as it has been for the past three years)
is pretty straight forward. The rules go like this.

1. Only members in the group can submit the 'group' image.
2. It MUST be an original image. If I find out that this image is
somehow a duplicate taken from someone else's club / group, etc. It
will be immediately destroyed. Be Creative!!! We're Mets Fanz
Damnit!
3. The image must contain the group name 'Mets Fanz United' in some
way, shape or form.
4. Size limitations are not a big deal, nor if
its file type. I prefer gif or jpeg, but with yahoo!s space /
file allotments-it doesn't really make a difference. Furthermore if
we have a size conflict I can just recrop it without any significant
loss of quality.
5. Of course, it must be about the Mets!
6. Finally, nothing obscene or vulgar (I know it's common sense!).

Deadlines: March 24th. All entries must be received in a folder,
found under 'Photos', titled 'MFU logo'.

Voting: March 25th – March 28th. Yes the person who made the image
can vote for his or herself-1 vote per person. The person with the
most votes wins.

Winnings:

Last year's winner, Richie Z, not only created the group image, but
he also reigned as moderator for the whole season (until just a few
weeks ago, actually)! So first off, the winner will have his/her
image posted year round. Second, I will turn the reigns over to you
(although I hold veto power, I will only use it in extreme
circumstances)! I will once again
offer the winner the option of being moderator for that year (until
next February). He or she will have the responsibility of running
the club, improving what they feel needs improving, changing color
schemes, and all else their little/carnivorous heart desires (i.e. if
they want to do weekly Mets reports, etc.).

As stated earlier, if the moderator misuses his or her position for
activities that
are already banned (such as using the group to participate/or partake
in an illegal action) or involve items that are uniformly banned
(such as porn, spamming, etc.), I will remove him or her from the
group promptly.
