Dear Fellow MetroWest Tactical IDPA Shooters,

As you may know we will be hosting the GOAL Cup IDPA Championship
this year during the last weekend of July at HSC.

The Founders of MWT would like to use this opportunity to make this a
sanctioned IDPA event and therefore we must meet certain criteria
required by HQ:

An IDPA sanctioned match is a match that appears on the IDPA web
site or in the Tactical Journal under "Upcoming Major Matches".
There will only be one state match per year. Regional matches are
allowed and encouraged.

To hold a sanctioned IDPA match
The Match Director must have:
Taken a Safety Officer class from an IDPA approved SO
instructor (the list is on this web site) and/or
Officiated at any of the national championships

The match director agrees to submit the match CoF with both
written procedure and target location diagrams to the appropriate
area coordinator no later than 60 days prior to the match for review
and approval. If there is no area coordinator for the area in
question, send information to IDPA HQ. Match sanction will not be
issued until the CoF has been approved.

All Safety Officers who will be working the match must have:
Previously worked club matches and
Viewed the video: "How to run a match"

Match Requirements
The match will be open to a minimum of 75 contestants
(including SOs).
The match will contain a minimum of 8 stages of fire.
The match will have a minimum total round count of 100
rounds.
IDPA rules as stated in the latest copy of the rulebook will
be followed to the letter.
Awards will be presented to contestants as laid out in the
rulebook.
All IDPA divisions and classifications will be recognized.
Official IDPA score sheets printed on NCR paper in duplicate
will be used in the match

participants. Please consider creating an interesting CoF and

If I receive more than we can use, I'll save them for future matches.

Please get your CoF design to me by December 21st.
