Evan,

    Thank you for calling  yesterday and speaking with my wife. It is a relief that the classes will resume with such little interruption. The YMCA did call me today, I thought I should let you know.

 

On another note, I have since the beginning of my family's participation tried to help Nicole in any small way possible, I would like to be able to continue to participate in the class in a similar fashion. I do plan on continuing to contribute to the organization thusly, and I would appreciate your guidance on the best ways I can help. I do plan on participating in the facilitation, marketing and propogation of the MMA TKD when I receive my blackbelt, therefore I would appreciate that guidance. Perhaps we can better target the QC market when I have reached the level of acheivement required to maintain my own facility within your organization. It is something I do look forward to...I am currently only a green belt, and so I realize that I have some work ahead of me before that time, however I would like to plant that seed and perhaps meet and/or practice with you occasionally to see if perhaps you would be interested in expanding the QC market or perhaps reaching down into muscatine.

 

If you have any questions PLEASE feel free to ask. I am certainly not trying to push myself on you, however I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself and to share my intentions with you, at least so you know who I am and where I would like to go with this especially since Nicole is no longer part of equation and so I now have no one who knows me and my personal goals within MMA. In either case, whether you are interested in entertaining the possibility of a more professional relationship or not, we plan on continuing to participate in MMA TKD.

 

A little background, I am 35 years old, Married with 3 children (2 of which are also MMA students). I work for the Dept of Defense at the Arsenal (I know you are a police officer). I have past combat martial arts experience in and out of the military...Stopped practicing martial arts when I got married and started having children. Restarted again after 8 years of absence. Like anyone, I have specific strengths and weaknesses.

 

I hope to hear from you soon, and as I said it is good that the school will continue locally.
