The boys and I had a great time on Saturday. Sara was out of town
so that's why see was not there.
I froze during my form. I actually had to start over twice and then
I still didn't do it right. This was a strange, as this has never
happen to me before. I think I was trying to hard and not just
letting it flow. Anyway, I didn't let it get to me and ended up
doing fine with board breaking and sparring.
Thank you to all who sparred in my division. It was an aggresive
bunch and that makes it fun when people come to play hard. The
friendships I have gained from this sport make it that much more
enjoyable. I admire people like Adam who show up and compete even
when they are admittedly not at the top of their game. To often
people get lost in being the best and not enjoying competion in
itself.
It sounds like the Bettendorf tournament is quite a deal. I hope to
attend that one next year.
Just a quick not on Mike. I enjoy watching him break boards. He is
intense and that energy carries over to those competing.
The Preston students did great and it was nice to see our young
students there. TKD has been such a positive thing for Preston. I
see our school continuing to grow.
