A systems approach is important for a school's success. Record keeping is an important part of any business' success. Security is mandatory. Ease of operation is necessary.
Key components of record keeping are:
1. Financial, both receivables and payables.
2. Contact info and interaction.
3. Tax records, both sales and net taxable income.
Key components of a school's success are:
1. Sales and Marketing assistance.
2. Automated billing both EFT and auto debit.
3. Web site hosting.
4. Classroom Management.
Mr. Rick Cockerham and I are developing a software solution that would fix many of the problems and integrate the features we as martial arts school owners have all wanted with software in the past.
Mr. Cockerham is the software developer I am working with. He has 15 years of martial arts experience and 25 years of programming experience having worked for IBM, NCR, HP, DEC, Compaq, Excel, etc. He writes software to handle on-line sales for several fortune 500 companies. His software handles thousands of secure credit card transactions every day.
A software solution that does all this while being at least as secure as a banking web
site and gives you free upgrades as they are released would be an asset to our martial arts industry.
If you would please share your experiences, good or bad, and perhaps answer a few short questions, I may be able to come up with a solution that would integrate all the features that have been lacking in other applications you have tried.
