Hello Marlboro-Era Veterans,

Here's brief update on our January 20th History gig:
The banquet is being held at the Fairview Marriott, Falls Church,
VA. It is located at the intersection of 495 and Rt. 50. The time
has yet to be annoucned, but I'm thinking something like 10:00am to
3:00pm.

Here are some of the folks planning to attend as of this evening: Bob
Hutchinson (flagger), Skip Reber, Jim Harrison, Rick Mandelson, Paul
O'Malley (all racers and/or officials), Ron Polemni and son (racer in
Volvo PV-544), Stacey Hopkins (Tex's daughter), Don Haines (Corvette
racer), Bill "MGA" Davis (racer), Sue Roethel (DC Region RE and so
much more!) Sam Smith (former RE of Ferrari Club of America, Mid-
Atlantic Region and Marlboro flagger, now vintage racer), Pete Van
Der vate (racer) Gordon Tatum, (Ferrari racer), Steve Benford, Jr
(son of longtime Marlboro announcer Steve Benford), Phil Charlwood,
whose dad was a charter member of the Lavender Hill Mob, yours truly
and my brother Bobby who'll be videotaping the proceedings to catch
the anecdotes, stories, lies, etc.
