We have been searching for Frank Baptista's, Monza record setting Lotus
XI since the mid 70's. Have gone thru Nick England's VIR data, Ev
Gardners, Washington Daily news reports, Nash Frazer's & Henry
Fankhausers reports on racing in the DC area. Also have gone thru all
of Baptista's personal racing collection without being able to
positively identify the chassis number of this car, or its where abouts
today.

Am looking for pics and information on Baptista, Motor Imports of
Rockville, Continental Motors of DC, Everett Smith ( may have been the
next owner of the Monza XI from N. Car., and there is some connection
between Baptista and George Schrafft (candy company).

Also looking for any XI pic from the late '50's, early '60's in the DC
area.
