Since the Fall Follies were rained out last Saturday, we have rescheduled the
show for Saturday, Dec. 12th. We'll start at 10 am and we will run classes 11 -
27. These are the riding, driving and trail classes. We still have the Jack pot
classes to run too. They will pay back 60% to the top 3 places. Wheeee! You can
win your entry fees back if your a good rider.
We will also be having a special bridleless demonstration done by Donna
Petermann of the Arizona Naturals and her horse Smokey.
Dawn and John of the Thunderbird Fire Dist. will be serving up some fine grub
during the show too.
Classes are $5 each, Jackpot classes are $15 each and there is a $2 arena fee.
So come down and have a fun time with your horses and family.
If you are on Facebook, or have friends who are, please vote for Equine Eden in the Chase Community Giving competition. We need lots and lots of votes to win a share of the money.
When I faced financial meltdown several years ago (mostly from having more horses than money would permit) Equine Eden stepped in and helped me out. They placed about half of my horses in WONDERFUL homes (and followed up on them to be sure they were as presented originally). They also helped me get hay and supplies for the horses that were still here. We currently have two horses in their program that have not yet been adopted out, but they are actively pursuing homes for these as well.
Many people SAY they are a rescue, but Equine Eden really is. They will not take in more animals than they can support. They have a cadre of foster homes that can take in animals on an emergency basis, and they also work with owners (like they did with me) to find homes for animals in traumatic situations. This is a wonderful organization run by a truly amazing lady. I can't say enough good about them.
Thank you for anything you can do to help them out--including voting for them in the above contest and passing this request on to others who might also vote.

Can anyone recommend a good/reliable electrician in the area?
Talk to Rosie in the gift shop in the casino. Her husband removed a lot of our mobile home that burned down.
Check out Equine Eden Rescue Center's website. It's easy to donate using their PayPal button. Also use Good Searchas your default search engine and Equine Eden will get a
penny for every search you do. Also if you shop through Good Search, the rescue will get a percentage.

Does anyone know someone who will remove a mobile home? It is in Hidden Valley. The mobile was donated to a lady whose home burned down. Unfortunately, there was no title. As a result, APS wouldn't turn power on. If it is not removed by Dec. 10, the lady is going to be fined daily by the county.

Someone at Belinda's show Sat, offered to look at our arena lights. I'm not sure of her name, but think she was a friend of Kim's.
