I know most of us are full up to our eyeballs right now, but wanted to let you know about this. Better a good home than a quick ride over the border to death which is what will happen to most of these horses and mules.
The horses are lost or strayed animals found all over the state--including one found up near me. The sale will be off of I-19 (on the way to Nogales), probably near Green Valley (exit 25). More information and photos are available in the link below.

If anyone would like to help these horses and mules, please contact livestock. They look wonderful!
Hi Everyone,
The auction for the Andalusians (1stallion, 1 mare in foal and 1 yearling filly) along with some very nice other horses and mules will be this upcoming Friday, July 17, 2009 at 10 am.
Please let your contacts know about these horses. Here is a link to their photographs, information on them and the location of the auction in Southern Arizona.
There also is a telephone number for additional information. These are very, very nice horses.
I am sorry for the short notice but I just got the information today. I have called the Agriculture Department and left a message asking them to please hold the horses for 14 days if they have not been there that long to give us a little more time, but, unless they will hold them, the horses will go to auction at 10 am this Friday.
Please let everyone who might want to take one of these horses or mules know about them.
Thank you so much.
Best wishes,
Pat
