Construction on Hidden Valley Roads Aims to Mitigate Dust

HIDDEN VALLEY- Pinal County Department of Public Works is advising motorists that construction has begun on two roads in the Hidden Valley area.

Construction crews will be working on Farrell Road between Warren Road and Hidden Valley Road along with Hidden Valley Road between Farrell Road and McDavid Road from July 14 until the end of October.  Pinal County Public Works said that the construction will take place at intermittent times throughout that time span.

The purpose of the construction is to apply a road surface product that will help keep the dust down in the area.

“This is another cooperative effort between Pinal County and the City of Maricopa,” said Board of Supervisors’ Chairman David Snider.  “It is a partnership that will make driving and breathing much easier for residents in the area.”

The construction project will be administered and constructed by Pinal County crews.

To keep current on roadway conditions including road closures within Pinal County, please call Pinal County Road Information Line at (520) 866-6078 or visit the Pinal County website at http://pinalcountyaz.gov.
