This service is not exactly like having an online realtime weather
station at all our favourite launches to track trends. But it's
better than nothing at all. However, under no circumstances should
people expect a "play-by-play" of the conditions. I think, if there
are no updates one could assume that there has been no significant
changes in the conditions and sometimes you just need to get out and
see for yourself.
It's a cheap alternative for those who already have Text service. It
can be inexpensive for those who have a Text capable phone but have
not subscribed to the service. For example, MTS $6 /month for 100
messages, then 6 cent per message over that and free to receive.
