That's too bad, I thought that they may make interesting surf machines
for hauling gear around in.

I own a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport, and it works exceptionally well
for carrying my boards around. I was actually able to carry my old 9'-2"
and 8'-6" boards inside the van. Since then I have sold them and now
have a couple of boards including a Naish Titan that is only 8'-4". And
that's my big board!
