Hi Guy's!

Sorry to annuonce that our very own Classified Ad site (South Basin
Ad's) where locals could advertise and shop for used gear and our
Windsurf / Kiteboarding Forum site (SBA Forum) where area
windsurfers /kiteboarders could talk about windsurfing, kitesurfing,
or kitesnowboarding have been closed due to lack of activity. They
were provided free of charge by a fellow wind junkie. The sites cost
him money to maintain (re: hosting fees) and due to lack of activity
he decided to close them. He had the sites for other purposes but had
to close them due to high traffic. He decided to change them to suit
our needs on a trial basis. You could say the trial failed.

Open water report:
Last weekend, Lake Winnipeg had a strip of open water along shore.
Lagoons too. Mostly one sheet of ice as far as the eye can see. But,
rotten looking. Isolated pressure ridges too. The water is very
shallow. The beaches are much bigger than last year. Some guys
thought Gull Lake and /or Lac du Bonnet might be open for the weekend
(or shortly).
