When was he taken?
Dirty - you can't just add players at will...
Yahoo! Groups Links
Expansion Rules
1) Teams will be able to protect a maximum of 22 players.
2) You must have 10 pitchers and 10 batters if you plan on protecting more than
20
3) For every player a team looses he will get a supplemental pick in the yahoo
free agent expansion draft.
4) The six expansion teams will take part in a 6 round expansion draft
6 players X 6 teams = 36 players
5) No Reality team can loose more than 4 players.
6) Expansion teams are not required to pick 6 players if they decide their money
may be better spent in free agent signings and/or trades and rookie picks.
55 players
11 prospects
6 missed or pending prospect picks
The format will be:
Expansion teams will get 5 picks first. Int he 5th round the existing teams
will get a pick. We will then have two more rounds bringing the total MLB picks
to 52.
In the minor league portion of the draft, we will all get one selection--either
a player or a pick.
Any player not slected in either draft will be eligible for free agent bidding
and his current contract will be null and void.
The only players you can pick up are the ones on your Reality Team
roster that you have signed to contracts. You have more players then
you have roster positions available in the fantasy league. Those that
do not make your majour league team are automatically placed on your
minor league team.
B/c of injuries, trades or ineffectiveness, you may send people down
or call them up (but it will cost you and you may potentially loose
them on waivers--the full rules are in the files section). If there
are players worthy of being picked up but not on any team roster then
you will have to wait until the midseason free agent draft to claim
them.
All this was stated before you joined the league and was the purpose
of the free agent signing period we had. If you were inactive and did
not take the time to build your team then you will feel it now as the
league begins. You will have time to strenghten and rebuild your team
through the draft and trades in the coming years.
Good luck and have fun,
Kevin

So what do I do about other free agents that I might want?
Could someone please explain?
I STILL DON'T GET YOUT POINT. THE DATABASE IS YET TO BE UPDATED AND
YOU AS COMISSIONER DOES NOT HAVE A UPATED INFO OF EVERYONE'S TEAM IN
THE FILE SECTION.
THIS IS WORST THAN LAST YEAR.

The bidding on myself should be deleted. I was just checking to see if it still worked. I do deserve way more than $20 though. :)
Bidding can continue until these free agents have been won.

You don't have to be crazy to play hockey, but it helps -

At first they thought the world was flat. Then thought it was round. Actually, they were both right.
I haven't seen anything, but I want to buyout the contract of Troy
Percival and waive him.
Let me know if I can go ahead and do this so that I can bring up a
minor leaguer.
Done.

What about players not taken in the contraction draft? When I try
to nominate one it says they are already on another team.
