Brett Boone is the only guy that retired in the offseason that wa on a roster. He took over the team that already had Boone signed. Boone was never added to the roster so he was allowed the exception. Any player not called up to the majours this year will not have to paid so as long as you leave Percival in the minors you shouldn't have a problem.

Yes, because he retired in the offseason you will not have to pay him. I have not forgotten that. Form this point on though, all retiring players will need to be bought out.

What do you suggest?
How about: $14/1 year $10/2 years $12/3 years
Or is that too high now? What is the value of the players available?

You can sign them to one of the following contract lengths:
$6/1 year $5/2 year $7/3 years
These players can be placed on your minor league roster if you wish without having to pass through waivers but remember that any player not on your majour league roster next year will be eligible for the waiver draft (except prospects).
You may choose not to participate in this draft by simply posting: "I waive my pick."
Please do not add them to your team until Saturday and do not place them in the staring lineup until Monday.

Sorry guys, my mouse busted and I had to go out and buy a new one.
Mid season drafts: The trade deadline is at the end of Week 19.
I propose that we set three midseason draft dates where you have the option of signing a player not already drafted or you can sign someone that has been released and not picked up on waivers.
The dates I'm looking at are: at the end of week 5, week 10 and week 15. At the end of these weeks we will draft in reverse order of the yahoo standings and the players can be added on the Saturday of that week and will be eligible to play for the series starting the next week (6, 11, & 16). Any manager that places a player in the lineup for Sundays game will face serious
repercussions.
Please reply with your thoughts. Thanks
