If we do not act before Monday, 15 Mar, we may loose one or more full
size soccer fields.

At our last Board meeting, your Board UNANIMOUSLY passed a resolution
asking the Los Altos School District to NOT site the Bullis Charter
School at the Egan site; a copy of the resolution is posted in the
files section of this group - READ IT.

The Board also asked that our parents show their support by
separately writing the School Board; to date we have only received
copies of 12 such emails, a DISAPPOINTINGLY poor show of support - we
can do better.

If you live in Los Altos or southern Mountain View please send an
email to the Board of the Los Altos School District requesting that
they not site the Bullis Charter School at Egan. It is always best
if you compose your own email based upon the following facts:

1) Four years ago in its EIR (Environmental Impact Report) the School
District promised to remove the Camp School when it was no longer
needed for its modernization program. The Camp School will no longer
be need after the end of this school year.

2) Demand for soccer has doubled over the last four years; because of
a lack of fields we are turning away teams.

3) There are other sites for the Bullis Charter School

4) Our youth soccer players DO NOT currently have access to full size
fields as are currently planned for the Egan site.
