MVLASC is sponsoring a USSF Grade 8 Referee course starting Monday, July 30th.   The course meets at 6:30 pm for 3 hours and for six days, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during the weeks beginning July 30 and August 6.  It will be  at Hillview Community Center, room 17.  Attendance at the first five sessions is mandatory.  The last session is a test and it may be possible, with the consent of the instructor, to take the test elsewhere and at a later date.
 
Attendance is limited to 25 - there are still openings.

Anyone completing the course and passing the test (very few fail) becomes a USSF Referee, Grade 8, licensed to referee any affiliated game where they are older than the players. The 2008 licensing fee is included in the course fee.  Information on refereeing is posted at the MVLASC website.
